Unfortunately e.g. when the (unattended) device is loosing power and reboots, it can no longer write to the filesystem. I know it's possible to disable auto-mount on a mac or linux, but I'd prefer not to. WebDec 10, 2024 · CircuitPython does try and ensure only one computer is managing the file system at a time. It does this by giving others read-only access. However, this case should be fine since the goal is to read the file off the disk. That will allow CircuitPython to write to it just fine while the PC can only read.
