I believe the clocking is a little off from "normal" and you will have to deal with the fact that there will not be a mounting point for the shifter, but it should mount up. GM round face cases (not racetrack pattern) do not come with the short input shaft, they come with the long input shaft. simply swap input, bolt it together, and go.
