WebBought this to hem stretch pants. I used 12 strips. It was easy to separate the the strip from the cardboard backing and place it on the fabric. However it was EXTREMELY difficult to separate the remaining backing from the super thin/fragile adhesive strip! It took me at least an hour to use these strips. I could have hand-sewn the hems quicker! WebThe best way to shorten a dress is to measure a new length and stitch a replacement hem either by hand or on a sewing machine. Using hem tape or fabric glue will also create a permanently shortened dress. For a temporarily shorter dress, applying safety pins, a belt, or a knotting technique will do the trick.

The inseam is just over 35 inches so for my 30” inseam I would need to have them hemmed or roll them up (as shown in the earlier photo).
